How this place works
Who it's for
Adults only. Adult men living with ADHD, depression, burnout and the everyday stress that comes with them. Gay, straight and bisexual men are equally welcome. What you do for a living, how senior you are and how severe your diagnosis is have nothing to do with whether you belong here. You don’t need a diagnosis on paper to join.
Language
Ordinary swearing is fine. This isn’t a place where you have to talk like a leaflet.
What isn’t fine: personal insults, harassment, discrimination of any kind, threats, sharing someone else’s private information, and sexual approaches nobody asked for. Swearing at a situation is different from swearing at a person.
Pseudonyms, and their limits
Everyone here uses a handle, including me. You don’t have to give your legal name, employer, sexuality or medical records to anyone.
A pseudonym is not complete anonymity. Anything you post can be read by every member, and anyone can take a screenshot. Post accordingly, and never repost someone else’s words or details outside here.
Respect what someone asked for
Every discussion says what the person wants back. Give them that, not something else.
Just hear me out — read it, sit with it, don’t solve it.
What worked for you? — say what you actually tried and how it went.
Give it to me straight — blunt is welcome. Cruel still isn’t.
Peer support, not treatment
This is shared experience between people in the same boat. I’m not a clinician and I’m not qualified to treat anyone. Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, or guidance on medication or doses.
If you’re in danger or in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country. This community is not monitored around the clock, and nobody here can be relied on to be watching.
Reporting
Every discussion and reply has a report link. Reports come to me. I read them myself, which means they’re not handled instantly and they’re not watched continuously. If something breaks the rules above, I hide it and deal with the person.
No pressure to take part
There are no streaks, no scores, no nudges and no lists of who’s been quiet. Reading is taking part. Going silent for a month costs you nothing, and your place stays yours.
